Dr. Nhan is very friendly and professional with the examination for my entire family. She is very detailed in her check up and explaining any issues. Her office staff is also very patient at doing the eye pressure tests for us. Highly recommend her if you are looking for a good optometrist.

Dr. Michelle Yip was very professional and thorough. She took the time to explain to me every test that I went through, walked me through my results, and provided guidance on how to improve my eyecare and health. She was very attentive and I highly recommend her! Cindy was also very friendly, courteous and welcoming. Thank you both! Note: the entrance is facing the "tunnel" in Downtown Markham, located beside Go-For-Tea, not beside Scotiabank as what Google may indicate.

No need to look further :) When I realized I needed to see an eye doctor after a number of years without, I took to Google and review forums to see what was out there. Lucky for me, one of the ones with the best reviews was right down the street, and had the friendliest staff! They were extremely helpful, quick to respond to email and phone, and were able to fit me in very promptly (thanks to a cancellation). I wasn't sure what to expect but both Cindy and Dr. Yip walked through everything and explained everything before we did it. I really appreciated it especially since everyone is always already a little overwhelmed when you need to go to a doctor during a lockdown. Dr. Yip didn't rush anything and was able to answer all my questions no matter how basic they were. I am looking forward to having a new go-to optometrist in my neighbourhood!

Great place to get your eye tested and glasses. Dr, Nhan is great, they offer very good service and provide a honest opinion on styles. You never feel pressures to buy anything or rushed to make any decisions. They do referrals for laser eye surgery as well. Very through and detailed experience. Recommended to my family and friends!

Great experience! Staff are kind, polite and professional. I was really keen on finding a pediatric optometrist and they are PERFECT for toddlers. Friendly environment Dr. YIP is highly experienced with children.She is patient and informative. Highly recommended her services.

Dr. Daniel Stoikos was amazing! I usually get eye exams elsewhere and they’re done so quickly but Dr. Stoikos took his time to make sure everything was perfect! He double-checked the prescription with something called a trial frame that no other doctor did before. Everything seemed fine then but when I got my glasses at the cheapest place I could find it felt like my eyes were straining even though everything was clear. I called them and said I was having issues and they said they’d give me a complimentary check no problem. When we redid the prescription we got the same thing as before. He did the trial frame again and I felt fine with that even though they were the same rx! I then showed him my old glasses (I didn’t bring them the first time because I was dumb enough to leave them at home d’oh!) He said the new prescription was a little stronger but when he tried to weaken it my distance vision started to get blurry. He put some lenses over top my new glasses to show what a weaker one would look like. It felt better but he was right about the very far stuff starting to get blurry. I don’t know why the glasses I got strained my eyes but the new blur was tolerable enough that I asked for the new / weaker prescription. The optical said they would redo the lenses at no charge because these things happen some times. Dr. Stoikos spent so much time with me and explained everything fully. It was great having a doctor like him that cared so much to go above and beyond to give me clear comfortable vision. Next time I won’t forgot my glasses at home! (also I dumped my bf because he was a lying scam artist)

I was in search of a local optometrist to support during the pandemic and came across Dr. Nahn’s office and their rave reviews! She was incredibly prompt at responding to my Yelp inquiry on the weekend, and I booked right away. When I emailed to check if they had any cancellations so I could come earlier the day of, the receptionist called me even though they weren’t technically open which I really appreciated! It was such a friendly and welcoming environment, and I’ll definitely be back in the future!

Dr. Nhan and her receptionist Cindy were very friendly and welcoming and I went in right away without waiting. The service they provided was professional, thorough and well explained. They also provided an option for a more thorough examination of the eye with pictures, beyond the basic exam. This, if you choose, provides a benchmark to observe the eye over time during subsequent visits. I would highly recommend them.
