    Through a comprehensive eye exam, our optometrists will be able to detect eye problems, such as blurred vision, dry eyes, eyestrain, and infections, as well as screen for eye diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and cataracts. We will also be able to detect and manage eye problems associated with systemic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and arthritis. Our typical eye exam ranges from 30-45 minutes.     How often should I get an eye exam? This depends on your age and overall health condition. For children 19 years of age and under, seniors, and those with eye conditions, we recommend annual checkups. Healthy adults should get checked every 2 years. Our optometrists will recommend an appropriate follow up appointment based on your individual circumstance. How do you examine the internals of my eye?
