I’m Dr. Jessica Nhan, the proud owner of Opsis Eye Care.

Good vision allows us to experience every moment of life to its fullest, and it is something that we should never take for granted. I got into the field of Optometry in 2010 because I valued eyesight and was determined to maintain the eye health of others. After spending five years in the Optometry field, I decided it was time to open my own clinic.
I started Opsis Eye Care in 2015 to provide exceptional eye care services to patients and offer them products that are best suited to their needs. Running my own clinic allows me to carry frames, lenses, sunglasses, contact lenses, eye drops, and products that I feel are the most appropriate for my patients.
Over the past five years, we have grown tremendously as a business. From a one doctor operation, we now have a team of three doctors who are dedicated to providing the best eye care services. We have also increased our selection of frames, lenses, and eye care products. The best part of it all is that our client base has expanded significantly, and patients even refer us to their friends and family.
As a leading optometry clinic, we do our best to understand and satisfy the eye care needs of all our patients and strive to provide them with the most professional eye care services possible.
As an Optometrist, the most fulfilling part of my job is that I can prevent permanent vision damage by detecting eye diseases or disorders early. For example, when a patient has a retinal detachment, I detect it right away and send them for surgery. Knowing that I can save my patients’ vision or help them solve eye issues is extremely fulfilling.
The most rewarding part of owning this business is seeing our patient base grow. This means I can help more people with their eyes and vision. It is also incredibly satisfying to know that I have a steady cash flow, as it suggests that my business is growing and that we’re on the right track to succeed.
My business’s success so far can be attributed to my fantastic staff and team of doctors. Having them take care of our patients helps to build the practice, which creates referrals and returning patients.
When I’m not working, I spend most of my time taking care of my two wonderful kids. My current hobbies include baking desserts and decorating cakes.
I also travel to different parts of the world and participate in eye care missions to help the unfortunate see better. I hope to be able to continue to do that in the future once the pandemic settles down.
